Context
The client is an association of companies in the gas and energy sector, whose employees give volunteer hours to social causes. Those hours were tracked in Excel. Within the development team, I took part in building the platform that lets administrators and managers allocate hours to resources, with clear management and traceability: who gave how many hours, for which cause, allocated by whom. The application replaces a spreadsheet with a shared tool that is simple to use for non-technical profiles.
What I did
- Taking part in needs analysis and UML design
- Taking part in architecture choices; hexagonal-architecture endpoints
- Building the allocation of hours to resources and quota follow-up, with a traceable history
- Application security: Spring Security, JWT, CORS, CSRF
- Angular components, services, directives and pipes; Figma design integration
- Technical specifications and interface contracts
- Working in a Scrum team: daily meetings, retrospectives and sprint reviews
Results
- Part of the team that delivered, from scratch, a platform replacing an Excel follow-up
- Hours allocated to resources with clear traceability for administrators and managers
- Hexagonal-architecture endpoints, secured with JWT
